Every TRCF scholar served has a story to tell. Each has walked a road unimaginable to most. Of all the people living with cancer, teens and young adults receive the least amount of support. TRCF's programs were initiated after extensive research into the needs of AYAs battling cancer and to ensure that scholars outcomes are impactful, equitable, and effective.

This is our largest fundraising event of the year that we rely heavily on to fund our programmatic support to teen scholars.

Our priority is for you and your guests to have a fun and fantastic evening while raising funds to support teens battling cancer nationwide. Live performances will keep you entertained while you dance the night away. From the moment you arrive for cocktails, to late in the evening, we can assure you that each moment will be special. From silent and live auctions, a champagne diamond raffle, and celebrity guest speakers, this will be a night to remember. Enjoy musical performances from the Emerald City band’s Limelight and our very own TRCF Scholar Princess Robinson. Come early, stay late, and raise awareness and funds for a worthy cause!

TRCF exists solely on the generosity of our community. We are extremely thankful that we live in a community that strongly supports adolescents in need and understands the value of education. We hope that you enjoy our event so that we can continue to support teen cancer survivors in need.

TRCF relies on every dollar raised at our events to fund our educational support and scholarship programs.  WE NEED YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT MORE THAN EVER!! We are more committed than ever to continuing the support we provide to teen cancer patients and adolescent cancer survivors.

We are excited to announce the TRCF 2022 Gala Keynote Speaker will be NFL Hall of Famer, five-time Super Bowl winner, and five-time Pro Bowler, Charles Haley!

Not only has Mr. Haley achieved the highest success one can in the NFL but he is also a huge proponent of education and supporting youth. Mr. Haley knows first-hand the impact of cancer on a family. After retiring from the NFL his young daughter Brianna was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, years later their fourth and youngest daughter Madison was born and turned out to be a life-saving bone-marrow match to Brianna.

“Education is so much power, but you have to unlock it, that's my journey in life right now. I try to lift and encourage everyone that I meet. Through education, the Ruth Cheatham Foundation, is supporting these young cancer survivors so they can move past their cancer diagnosis and conquer the world!"

Sam is co-host of the popular Free 4 All on FOX 4 and sits alongside veteran anchor Mike Doocy. With over 11 years of experience in the media industry, Sam is known for her engaging passion and dedication to her job and loves to tell a great story!

When it comes to football, Sam is a Cowboys fan through and through. She always watched “America’s Team” with her father growing up, as he was a huge Roger Staubach fan. Sam has a passion for philanthropy and is inspired by the incredible TRCF scholars and the work of The Ruth Cheatham Foundation.

"I look forward to meeting the deserving teens and young adults that TRCF supports and kicking off this fun event benefiting teen cancer survivors!" - Sam Gannon
