As the proud niece of Ruth Cheatham, Lindsay Whittemore has always believed in the power of education to change lives. She began her career as a Financial Advisor in the banking industry, but it wasn’t long before she discovered her greatest fulfillment came from giving back in a more meaningful way. That calling led her to co-found The Ruth Cheatham Foundation, where she champions opportunities for teen and young adult cancer survivors to continue their education and reclaim their futures.

In addition to volunteering for her community and leading TRCF, Lindsay spends her time with her husband and daughter outdoors and enjoys painting and cooking. For Lindsay, nothing is more rewarding than working with survivors, listening to their stories, celebrating their achievements, and witnessing the resilience that defines them. She feels deeply honored to see the tangible impact TRCF is making in their lives and to carry forward Ruth’s legacy in every scholar’s success.
